Growth Acceleration Partners (GAP) has introduced its AI Impact Framework, a structured approach aimed at evaluating the tangible business outcomes stemming from artificial intelligence initiatives. This framework is designed to assist organizations in differentiating between routine AI-assisted tasks and those that drive productivity, enhance automation, or create reusable capabilities across teams.
The AI Impact Framework requires employees to provide evidence of AI-driven work completed over the past six months. This evidence can include production code, custom AI agents, automated testing systems, delivery pipelines, large-scale migrations, internal tools, and reusable systems. It specifically excludes self-reported or hypothetical AI capabilities from its assessment process.
The evaluation within the framework is conducted through a multi-agent process. Initially, an evaluator scrutinizes the submitted evidence. This is followed by an adversarial agent who challenges any unsupported claims and their attribution. A referee then reviews both assessments to determine a final score. Human managers and project leaders subsequently validate the results, with any disputed assessments undergoing further review.
The framework categorizes participants into four levels of AI maturity. These levels range from limited AI integration to the capability to develop and operate AI agents, automated workflows, and reusable systems that have a broader impact on the organization. GAP reported that by July 2026, approximately 41% of its workforce had achieved Level 3, while around 48% had reached Level 2.
Internally, GAP is utilizing the AI Impact Framework to identify capability gaps among its employees and to create personalized development plans. The company aims for the framework to establish measurable baselines, pinpoint development needs, and guide organizations from basic AI adoption to more autonomous and impactful operational methods.
